The fabrics exported to the United States are relatively high-end. The fabrics exported to the Bay of Bengal and South Africa are relatively low-end.
Manager Zhou: Our company does not have many first-hand customers in Europe. As for a few European and American customers, they have not heard that they will have a large-scale holiday, and now they have entered the off-season, and orders have shrunk a lot. Therefore, the impact of the off-season on the market may be more obvious. However, I have heard from some senior seniors and some customers who are doing foreign trade. It is true that there is a holiday, but now this stage is mostly proofing and development. Therefore, the main impact of European customers’ holiday is the development stage. time consuming.
Manager Zhang: Although our company does not have direct European customers, we know from the foreign trade company customers that it is true that the European market lacks large orders this month. However, in fact, from July to September, it is basically the traditional off-season of the textile market. From our company, the spring and summer market orders have basically ended, and the fabrics in autumn and winter are mostly in the proofing and sample stage. We also use the low season to develop new products.
When the peak season is coming, everyone is very calm.
Now, it is getting closer and closer to the traditional peak season. Although many weaving bosses verbally say that the market will not be good this year, they can still see their desire for market improvement. According to the practice of previous years, the market orders will be released in late August, paving the way for the arrival of “Golden Nine”, but this year’s textile market seems to be somewhat deserted. Whether it is polyester raw materials or weaving companies, it seems to have calmed down. .
In the past few years, when the price of raw materials has soared, the downstream weaving is often exciting. What is the price increase notice for three times a week, the collective price increase, etc., and it is also impulsive. Many raw materials are once priceless and have no market. Crazy rises and so on! However, in the middle of June and July this year, the prices of raw materials fluctuated greatly. At the same time, weaving companies were more of a “cold-looking” attitude.
Most of today's weaving companies also said that they will not be able to buy raw materials for a few months, like the last two years, basically with the purchase, the raw material procurement cycle is also shortened to 1-2 weeks.
Preparing for the gold, nine silver and ten
September is the traditional peak season for textiles. Although this year's market will be worse than in previous years, people's basic dressing needs are there, and the basic amount will still be there every year.
In fact, since last week, the orders of textile enterprises have increased significantly compared with the previous period. Some dyeing factories have also seen news of long-lost “explosive positions”, and the market has already improved. In terms of polyester raw materials, the prices of both PTA and polyester filaments are currently at a very low position. The average production and sales of polyester factories have also improved somewhat from the previous two months. It seems that they are gaining momentum, perhaps soon. In the future, the price of polyester raw materials will start to rise.
